Waking up Early Prolongs Life

Studies have proved that waking up early before sunrise prolongs life, increases the activity of the cells and improves human’s perceptions, psychological and mental abilities.

Scientists say that sleeping six hours at night from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. is equivalent to 12 hours of sleeping in the daylight.

Glory to Allah, prophet Muhammad – peace be upon him – has commanded us to wake up early to pray Fajr prayer.

Allah states the importance of night and that it is a way to ideal and comfortable sleep; as if it is like a cover that protects human from physical and psychological problems.

And it is He who has made the night for you as clothing and sleep [a means for] rest and has made the day a resurrection. [Qur’an, 25:47]
