Women and their role in Islam

Sponsored

Ya uhkti, your role in society is like the role of the archers in the battle of Uhud. They were not at the forefront or in the thick of the action, but they held the most important position. They guarded the army. If they moved, the whole army would be uncovered and defeated. Indeed in the battle of Uhud, the Muslims lost, and suffered many deaths due to the archers leaving their position in the confusion, this action left the backs of the Muslims open to attack. The moment the archers left was a moment of extreme loss for the believers. This is the position of the women of Islam.

🌸In the same way, if you leave your most important position, you leave the army which in this case is the Ummah uncovered.

🏹 You are the foundational structure of great generations,
🏹 You are the ones who teach the next generation of Muslims courage, truthfulness, kindness, perseverance, and patience,
🏹 You are the carers of this Ummah,

🌸Allah states that a woman’s primary role is from within. This does not mean she plays ‘no role’ in society, as modernists like to promote, whilst simultaneously exploiting women and saying they only become ‘something’ when they become a man. Our standard is not with men, it is with Allah. Both genders have unique strengths which are plain to see, given to us all by Allah.

🌸A woman is the heart of the structure of society. She functions like the engine of a car. Everything of the car is meaningless without the engine. The engine being concealed does not mean it is insignificant. Infact, being concealed reveals its real value.

🌸let our worth not be undermined by modernism or culture where we are sexualised and brought down to being ignorant. It is fardh on both men and women to acquire knowledge thus the generation’s to come have the right over us to educate and inspire them.

As the saying goes “If you educate a man, you educate a person whereas if you educate a woman, you educate a nation.”

🙏May Allah enable us to preserve and protect our religion, like the archers of Uhud, who were indispensable and the strength of the Muslims.
